Defying the local economic downturn in Las Vegas Debbie Kassela, a local nurse formally nursing supervisor at Spring Valley Hospital, embarked on a year long mission last year to open up a new medical uniform superstore in the southwest.  “We really put the concepts together and began the process to purchase the building before the economy began to implode but we feel that the concept is strong and the healthcare industry in Las Vegas is going to be one of it’s brightest spots going forward,” Kassela says.
 
Scrubtastic took over one year to build out and is a 5000 square foot medical uniform, supply and gift store.  Being roughly three times the size of a normal uniform store makes Scrubtastic a unique venue for the healthcare workers of Las Vegas to do their shopping.  Debbie also adds, “We have put a tremendous amount of thoughtful care into creating a really out of the ordinary place for people to shop and we really hope to grow with the community in the years to come.”  Scrubtastic is holding it’s Grand Opening Weekend during Labor Day from Thursday September 3rd through Monday September 7th.  “We will be offering free gifts to everyone who comes by, and free monogramming on gift items during the event so we want everyone to come by and get to know us.”
 
Scrubtastic was specifically designed and is dedicated to the hard working healthcare professionals in the Las Vegas and surrounding communities. In our planning phase we decided that our number one goal was to transform the daunting task of shopping for work cloths into a fun shopping experience in a really unique environment with great customer service. We wanted to offer the latest colors ,styles and print fashions that the industry has to offer along with many other personal services.
